Large branching biennial herb native to Eurasia and Africa and adventive in North America having large fernlike leaves and white flowers; usually found in damp habitats; all parts extremely poisonous. Synonyms: Conium maculatum, hemlock, Nebraska fern, poison hemlock, poison parsley, winter fern.
