(Veter.) A disease of domestic animals characterized by dry epithelial scales, and due to digestive disturbances and alteration of the function of the sebaceous glands.
Pityriasis versicolor (Med.), a parasitic disease of the skin, characterized by the development of reddish or brownish patches.
