Dinoceras  n.  (Paleon.) A genus of large extinct Eocene mammals from Wyoming; called also Uintatherium. Note: They were herbivorous, and remarkable for three pairs of hornlike protuberances on the skull. The males were armed with a pair of powerful canine tusks.
